WTI crude fell to $105.73 a barrel, headed for the lowest settlement since Aug. 22, and Brent crude futures dropped 0.4 percent to $109.61. Contracts on natural gas rose 0.6 percent. Oil also dropped after Libya restored about 25 percent of its crude output following talks between the government and striking workers, while export terminals in Mexico reopened as Ingrid weakened from a hurricane to a tropical depression. Wheat for December delivery gained 0.4 percent to $6.43 a bushel and corn rose 0.4 percent to $4.58 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery climbed 0.3 percent to $13.52 a bushel after a U.S. government report showed a decline in crop conditions as hot, dry weather hurt yields.
