WWE Battleground 2014 Results- Pre-Show: First match- Adam Rose vs Fandango. Winner- Adam Rose. Summer Rae and Layla accompanied Adam and his Rose Buds down to the ring and when Fandango started to get control they led the parade around the ring singing Adams entrance theme. Fandango of course got upset and climbed out of the ring to ask what they were doing...they both slapped him across the face (funny!!) and Adam threw him back into the ring. One Party Foul later and the Rose Buds were walking away with the win. Second match- Cameron vs Naomi. Winner- Cameron. This was another match that was over really quick. Naomi tried to go after Cameron before the match even started but the ref caught her and made her wait until the bell rang. Both girls got some good offense going...I suppose. Cameron got the roll up and the win by holding on to Naomis tights. This feud is far from over. Main Show: First match- Best of Three Falls match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The Usos vs the Wyatt Family. Winner- STILL WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos! Another great match from these two teams. I seriously thought that Erick and Luke would have won this time. Luke got the first pin on Jey but he came back to roll Luke up for the second pin. After some amazing back and forth moves along with a suicide dive from Luke...I think...a double splash from the Usos to Luke sealed the deal and the Usos walk away still champions. Backstage Seth Rollins is being interviewed about his match and what happened Monday night when Dean Ambrose comes out of nowhere like always and attacks him. Security quickly pulled them apart and Triple H ordered them to removed Dean from the building...well there goes that match (probably a better set up for Summerslam but still I wanted to see those two go at each other) Second match- AJ Lee vs Paige for the WWE Divas Championship. Winner- STILL WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee. Paige kept her offense going through a good amount of the match before AJ finally got some momentum going. Paige was able to get herself out of a Black Widow by yanking at AJs hair while AJ was able to kick out of the Paige Turner at two. AJ sealed the deal when she connected with a Shining Wizard for the win. Paige was later shown clapping for AJ in the aisle...Ok is anyone else not buying this?! Backstage segment with Orton and Kane talking about the match later. Kane assured Orton that he will be leaving as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Third match- Rusev vs Jack Swagger. Winner- Rusev (Another set up for Summerslam but I dont think there was anyone who didnt see this from a mile away) It wasnt a total clean win in a way since Jack was counted out. After the match Rusev put Jack into the Accolade while Jack seemed to be unconscious (selling an injury I hope) Strange commercial with Stardust and Goldust Seth Rollins came out to the ring to accept his victory via forfeit since Dean was thrown out of the building. He wanted his hand raised in victory and the ref did so. While he was heading backstage Dean came out of nowhere again and attacked him. They brawled through the crowd and all over the place until Dean got Seth by the hair and threw him through the Spanish Announce table. Security arrived to try and pull them apart (of course the crowd is chanting Let them fight!) but they kept going at each other at every opportunity until Triple H came out himself and pulled them apart. He walked Seth to the back while Dean was carried out kicking and screaming...of course. Once Dean was gone Triple H raised Seths arm. (That. Was. Awesome.) Fourth match- Chris Jericho vs Bray Wyatt. Winner- Chris Jericho. Both men where hitting every move they could, there was one rough patch but they worked it out. Erick and Luke got themselves sent backstage after trying to interfere. Chris got the surprise win with a Codebreaker. Seth is shown in the parking lot leaving, he thanks the two security guards that are with him and sends them away. As he is walking to his car he stops and looks around like something doesnt feel right. Of course Dean emerges from the trunk of Im guessing Seths rental car and hits him with a tire iron! Once again they start brawling and end up on top of the car. Seth finally manages to get into the drivers seat and speeds off...leaving his luggage behind. I think he left his Money in the Bank briefcase as well. (Once again...That. Was. Awesome.) Never ever count out Dean Ambrose...and Jon Moxley of course. I love how he is bringing both characters together. Fifth match- 20-Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship. Winner- NEW Intercontinental Champion...The Miz. Ok this pissed me off! Through the whole match Miz kept ducking under the bottom rope and hiding. Since you have to go over the top to be eliminated he was able to avoid that. Well Dolph Ziggler was the last one in the ring which of course sent the crowd over the moon with excitement...until Miz emerged. The crowd basically died when he won. WWE has got to realize that the crowds love Dolph and want him to be champion again. He deserves another push. Main event- Fatal-Four Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena vs Kane vs Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns. Winner- STILL WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. Now I know this ending has a lot of people disappointed but it was the best ending. Roman is not ready just yet. Fast pushes have done nothing for anyone who gets them. Daniel Bryan got one and now he is out with shoulder and neck problems possibly needing a second surgery. Plus I have said it a million times, John is one of the few people who can actually hold his own against Brock Lesner. Roman came so close tonight and had some amazing moments and when his time comes at Wrestlemaina 31 it is going to be epic! Although I couldnt watch since the stream I usually use was all screwed up it sounds like it was a great show. Once the full replay is up Ill share the link.
