Wagging Hearts had a truly inspiring day today as we were awarded the Pay It Forward winner of Twin Groves Middle School in Buffalo Grove, IL. We are honored to be given an opportunity to partner with the rescuers of tomorrow as we prepare for a year-long commitment of education and inspiration. Twin Groves Middle School ran a student-run contest focused on generating a first hand perspective of social responsibility. A variety of organizations were entered and the students voted with the announcement being given at todays Twin Groves spirit assembly. Guess what?!?! Wagging Hearts was given the honor of being the chosen organization!! We could not be more over the moon to participate in such an unbelievable and positive movement. We believe strongly in nurturing and guiding our youngest pet stewards to become the voice and barometer for the future. Todays assembly kicks off a year-long effort to mold minds, alter perspectives and generate life-altering hearts filled with the knowledge of what social responsibility is truly all about. Stay tuned for updates as we begin this youth movement with Twin Groves and enjoy the photos from todays unveiling of the Pay It Forward winner!! A special thanks to Big Ed for coming out with his therapy dog Nicki who wowed the kids with her beauty and demeanor. We are looking forward to the next assembly and all that will unfold as we steer young minds toward new horizons. Hopefully opening more than a few hearts along the way.
