Waiting for a child to recover from surgery puts life on hold for a bit. Today we arent leaving the house; 3 babies are staying in sleepers all day; and homemade bread is almost ready to put in the oven alongside a simmering pot of beef stew. Yes, we broke our no Netflix for the tots rule, nap time was extra early, and laundry is getting washed but mysteriously staying unfolded. But hey- life is on hold. Might as well enjoy it. (-; Also- Eli now says Mama (but not Dada!!!!) so we have had hourly recitals of his sweet little voice bellowing out this new favorite word before breaking out into adorable baby giggles. Its the little things.
