Wake up and take part A few years ago I got involved in the fight for gun rights. Shortly I learned it wasn’t gun rights as much as a frontal assault on our Constitution that I am involved in. I am not a big player, I write to my elected representatives, post opinions and articles on Facebook and the Tea Party Hub, I write letters to the editor several of which have actually been published. Each day I read and learn about new threats to our God Given Freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution. Reporter’s computers being hacked, news people being threatened for doing what they should do, People being arrested for speaking out against anything that the Government favors. Police taking over people’s homes to facilitate an operation, the ongoing attacks on self-defense, the right to keep and bear and the basic human right to speak what one thinks. There are open violations and attacks on the right of privacy. Political correctness is nothing less than censorship of the worst kind. States’ rights are practically a laughing matter in our nation’s capital. There are many Patriots and Patriot organizations out there who want to take our country back to the Constitution and to Constitutional law. Not by armed rebellion although most will tell you nothing is off the table because the very survival of our country and our way of life is at stake. You as an American Citizen don’t have to agree with my opinions or observations but you do have a right and a solemn duty to wake up and look around. Read something other than the Star and the NY times, try getting your news from somewhere other than the traditional big 3 media. Learn what is really happening in our country today and if you do and if you care about the future of the country you will I believe join the movement to take our country back. There are general elections in 2014 and a presidential election in 2016, if the country lasts that long and if you really care get out and vote, and this time vote for the good of the Republic not your freebees. There are many of us who care and are fighting the noble battle, there are many who are on the side of tyranny so long as they get their government benefits and there are many who just don’t care or don’t know. Try to become one of those who care and who speak out. Even if you speak out on the other side just get a little involved.
