Waking up today after a fruitless night of a stay in the hospital but feeling so blessed with a successful surgery for Pam and the overwhelming prayer sent on her behalf. Thanks to each of you for your thoughts, prayers, and continued prayer for a good recovery. These two coming weeks will be interesting and hard as Pam tries to ge through them on a totally liquid diet. Thankfully, Amanda has researched this and gotten advice from others who have been there done that and stocked the pantry with things she can have. I will not be doing this with her....but it will be tough to watch. Her life will be so much better in a couple of weeks and coming months as she heals. The doctor said all went well and we will see where this day leads. We have such great kids and they have been there for us.....it is just a scarey thing to see the person you love more than life itself have to endure surgery. Again, thank you all.....just need the time to pass now for healing.
