Wales International Young Artist Award Are you between the ages of 17 and 25? Do you want the opportunity for yourwork to be exhibited in Wales and internationally? Plus win a prize of £500? British Council Wales has launched its first annual Wales International Young Artist Award seeking the brightest young stars in the world of the arts. The first award of its kind in Wales. Wales has a thriving creative industry and the Wales International Young Artist Award will not only identify a new pool of young talent across the creative sectors, but also nurture it further by offering young artists from Wales, national and international exposure. Criteria Young artists interested in entering can belong to a range of creative backgrounds including painting, sculpture, as well as photography, graphic design, printmaking drawing and film. You must be aged between 17 – 25, and be Welsh born and/or Welsh resident, the deadline for submissions is the 2nd of September 2013. The winner will be announced in November 2013 and will get the opportunity or his/her work to have an international platform through our network of offices in six continents and over 100 countries.
