Walk Free Jesus understands our weakness and infirmities, but He does not want us to use His understanding nature as an excuse to stay in sin that is producing bondage in our lives. He convicts us of sin, but He never condemns us. He brings conviction so that we can see our errors, admit them, be truly sorry, repent, and receive the power of the Holy Spirit. We receive that power or inner strength by asking the Lord to fill us with His Spirit. We can then allow Him to enable us to walk free from the thing which has been sin in our lives. For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
