Walking my bike (who does that) and notice a cop car driving slowly next to me. I turn to them after a while of ignoring their attempts to get my attention, take out my head phones and say are you talking to me. They tell me its safe bike week, glad to see I have a stacker and lights and ask if the roads are safe? When I dont put myself in harms way. Ahh I like to bike agressively sometimes, says the cop. Then this encounter starts to make sense.. Theres a competition going to win bikes and gear etc. And BOOM, We just need your details to enter you in the draw. I laughed a little and told him nah man. They drove away, I felt violated. I couldnt find anything about a safe bike week and no police comps to win shit. Obviously. :D
