Walking through the door of The Haven, Laedros looked around at - TopicsExpress

Walking through the door of The Haven, Laedros looked around at the mess that had been left behind and slowly shook his head. With a rumble and soft growl, his wolf pushed past him and negotiated through the mess to her old spot in front of the hearth. Stretching out, she watched the ranger for a moment before yawning and falling into a slight doze, ears turning every which way as the sounds outside drifted in. He should have surrendered, it would have spared all of this bloodshed and misery. Laedros muttered. Aye, he should have. But theres only so much you can do. Santiago said, the elf walking in and glancing around. Looks like youve got some work to do. Need a hand? Shaking his head, he looked out of one of the windows at serving staff and fighters of the Company. I dont think so Santiago. At least not in regards to Haven. Its our home and well get it fixed back up. The Capitol needs to be relieved as well. Im hoping youve got some plan on how to do that? The elf asked with a perked brow. His hand moving to rest on the pommel of his sword. I do...Ill have to talk with Roman and figure out how to get things squared away. But well make it work somehow. We cant let them take the city. Sniffing at the air, the ranger frowned and glanced around the dim room. Smells like dwarf in here... Seeing as how their shaman wasnt at the battle, its a safe assumption he either fled when he heard that Marcus had fallen, or hes with the Vanguards forces at the Capitol. Santiago said with a grin. Either way, just another thing to clean. Taking a deep breath, he walked over to a fallen chair and picked it up, pushing it under a table and smirking. Time to get to work.
