Wallen, Buffet... these people remind me of some basic philosophical principles of public service: When judging the behaviour of police, military, and political personnel it is important to recall the Platonic principle of INCREASING responsibility going hand-in-hand with increasing power. That is to say, if you would defend them saying that in their position you might do the same thing, you are not really defending them at all. Because to be in the position of public trust is like being the camp councillor that helps disabled kids shower - you better figure a way not to even be perceived to be abusing that trust! Logically, though wealthy people do not hold public office, they should equally be held to a higher standard of behaviour and social good.
