Wambuzi Blow as Museveni, Mswati, Kabaka Mutebi, Omukama Gafabusa and Saudi Arabia Crown Prince confirm Attendance President Museveni had not only recognized William Gabula Nadiope, as the undisputed Kyabazinga but also directed that he be granted all the privileges that come with the office. The story angered Presidential aide Maureen Kyaalya who is Prince Colombus Wambuzi’s promoter seeing as her camp was losing the plot to resist Nadiope. Swearing that Wambuzi was the Kyabazinga, against the majority Busoga Princes vote, Kyaalya undertook to resign if her boss President Museveni did not withdraw his recognition of Nadiope. M7 Confirms Thumbs up for Kyabazinga Nadiope We can now report that President Museveni, who we also reported is considering punishing Kyaalya for assuming roles of enthroning kings, has registered his wish to attend Nadiope’s final coronation. To complicate things for Kyaalya and Wambuzi, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi 11, Bunyoro’s Omukama Iguru Rukidi Gafabusa, Swaziland’s Mswati and Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Salaman bin Abd al-aziz Al Saud are only waiting for the D-Day to show up at the Bugembe headquarters to witness Nadiope’s coronation. UK’s Prince Charles wooed Prince Charles We understood from Nadiope’s handlers that he is even considering inviting his personal friend, UK’s Crown Prince Charles, to assure Prince Wambuzi that he is a heavyweight. Whether Prince Charles’ attendance is a publicity stunt, remembering that Nadiope is a good marketeer and Charles is not someone you can invite on short notice, we shall only know in due course. However, reports from the Kyabazinga’s camp indicate that more recognized personalities continue to send in congratulatory messages and express their wish to attend the coronation. King Mswati Kadaga We understand that Nadiope’s chief strategist Speaker Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga is working tiressly to ensure that his coronation is nothing short of glamorous. Accordingly, Kadaga is reportedly mobilizing big personalities here and outside Uganda to attend. She is also mobilizing funds to bankroll the glamorous coronation, whose date is yet to be communicated. Saudi Crown Prince Salman-bin-Abdul-Aziz Reconciliation Besides organizing the coronation, we understand that Kadaga is carrying out reconciliation sessions with several of disgruntled Prince Wambuzi supporters. “See how we have lagged behind to the extent of suffering jiggers without a pillar of support in our midst. We had better rally behind his Majesty Nadiope and forget small quarrels for the good of Busoga,” Kadaga has reportedly spread the gospel around Busoga. In her campaign, Kadaga has also targeted religious leaders, opinion and political leaders as well as elders whom she sends out, upon conversion. Wambuzi Targeted Though silently, we understand that Kadaga and Nadiope are also reaching out to the Wambuzi camp in a bid to convince them out of rebellion and join forces with the elected Kyabazinga for the good of the kingdom. However, the above efforts have countered problems since some politicians allegedly support Wambuzi. Wambuzi is also unhappy, saying Nadiope rigged the elections since the High Court had removed the caveat which had stopped his coronation. With President Museveni fully behind Nadiope, the influential Kadaga as well as many kingdoms including Bunyoro from which Busoga kingdom broke away, Wambuzi faces an enormous task of removing the plug under Nadiope’s feet. Bugembe war One trick which Wambuzi camp had plotted to use is seizing the Bugembe Kyabazinga headquarters but President Museveni has since taken care of the situation. Police boss Gen Kale Kayihura has since deployed anti-riot police to handle whoever dares step foot at the facility with intentions of seizing it. Though Presidential aide Kyaalya has continued to sell propaganda that Wambuzi is strong on the ground and therefore Museveni will lose politically if he insists on recognizing Nadiope, Museveni’s intelligence machine has since trashed Kyaalya’s claims. As a matter of fact, the President had leaned towards Wambuzi initially but changed heart after his intelligence advised him he was committing a big political blunder that would deny him mileage.
