Wandering down to feed the chooks in the early evening gloom amid a light sprinkling of rain when Kayla disturbed the resident wallabies who were under the trees. Obviously I am less scary than a maniac dog so they bounded towards me and nearly bowled me over. Kayla always comes into the chook shed with me and the chooks basically ignore her as she checks everything out. However, tonight the rooster was shaping up to the oblivious canine. No idea why - unless he is going senile too. Dangerous places these farms. Wallabies nearly got me and a rooster nearly got Kayla.
