Want to Know Our Future? Of Course You Do! As concerned Democrats, who among us doesnt want the scoop on our economic forecast and what else likes ahead? Yet without a crystal ball, and a Certified Crystal Ball Technician (smile), the likelihood of knowing seems - well - unlikely. As Justin Wolfers (NYT) points out, variations in reality and reporting of our labor market, Federal Reserve, growth rate, competitive economies, oil prices, and Rumsfelds unknown unknowns add up to pure conjecture. So what can we do? Some say pray. And I would add: Pay close attention to every aspect of the upcoming races, and demand competent, experienced leadership, from Precincts to Presidency.
