Want to do something a little bit different? Middlesbrough Environment City have spaces available on a free one-day beekeeping taster course, which are available to over 19s who have been resident in the UK for 3 years or more. The course will cover bees and bee colonies, bee hives and equipment, hive management, pests and diseases and hive products and their uses. It is suitable as an introduction to beekeeping for those who might be considering taking up the hobby. The courses will take place in Middlesbrough on the following dates, between approximately 9am and 3pm: Wednesday 2nd April Friday 11th April (please note that this is during the school Easter holidays) Wednesday 16th April (also during the Easter holidays) If you would like to reserve a space, or would like further info, please contact Catherine on [email protected].
