Want to get Homegrown Produce for less than 50¢ a pound? Our winter CSA provides this. Once again A & H Farm is offering our winter CSA. This is a way for you to get Homegrown Produce from our farm at lower than grocery store prices. By signing up for the 6 week season your produce will average less than 50¢ a pound. Winter CSA will run from November 18th until December 23rd. 6 weeks of pickups Heres how it will work. Pickup will be each Tuesday evening from 4-6 pm at our farm. Sign up would be for the 6 week period. Each week Ill have a box ready for you. It will contain potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash (acorn, butternut, & spagetti squash) and any other Homegrown Produce that is available. Peppers, tomatoes, Kale, Swiss Chard and other summer veggies will also be included as long as they last. Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes will be dirty so that they last longer. Members will bring thier own bags each week to pick up their produce. Last year the amount in each box was roughly 30-40 LBS each week. The price would be $100 for the 6 week period if you pay before or at the 1st pickup. (This makes it less than 50¢ a pound for produce) If you would like to include apples (grown in Wavely, MO) in your pickup each week it would be an additional $30 for the 6 week season. We will also have an additional produce option. This produce will be bought using the bulk buy method. This option will be an additional $70 for the season. Produce quantity and types will vary in this each week. Produce in this will not duplicate the Homegrown Produce or apple option if youve signed up for those. Please call, visit our website, or email for more information or an order form. Andrea aandhfarm 785-341-7794 We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards & EBT.
