Want to get in front of a Broadway Director? Want to get in front of a Hollywood Director/Producer? Youll have your chance on Saturday, September 6, from 10a - noon, at Hattiloo Theatre. Hattiloo is bringing in Ruben Santiago-Hudson, who starred in Stick Fly on Broadway. He will join us in the audience on Friday (9/5) and have a reception with Hattiloos cast afterward. But on Saturday, September 6 he will host a 2-hour workshop at Hattiloo - tickets are $20/each and will be available on-line soon. At his request, admission to the workshop is limited. Heres Mr. Santiago-Hudsons bio: He wrote Lackawanna Blues and adapted it for a highly acclaimed, award-winning 2005 HBO film. Santiago-Hudson appeared on Broadway in Jellys Last Jam and received the 1996 Tony for August Wilsons Seven Guitars. His screen credits include Coming to America and Domestic Disturbance. In 2013, he won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Director, an Obie Award for Direction, and was nominated for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Director of a play for his work in the Off-Broadway production of The Piano Lesson.
