A remote technicians day will include a coordinated dispatch from their home to a storage shed location for parts, then to the customer location in order to repair appliance(s) and process transactions related to the in-home repairs, including collecting funds, issuing receipts and electronically sending the repair records to a central database by way of a company issued laptop. Anyone applying with Guinco as a Experienced Full Line In-Home Service Professional must possess the following skills: -Ability to use and understand Test Equipment for Appliance Repair, along with ability to read, follow and understand wiring diagrams -Ability to understand the use of a computer, smart phone and applications/software -EPA/Type 1 Refrigerant Certified -Manufacturer Certifications/Training or equivalent trade school -3 yr experience working with appliance repair, installation or diagnostics -Mechanical aptitude required Qualifications: -Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and drivers license check -Valid Drivers License -Must be over 21 years of age -Minimum of 3 years Job related experience in positions with in-home customer contact -Must be enthusiastic, customer-service focused individuals -Ability to read, write and speak English (bi-lingual always a benefit) -Must be able to lift or maneuver 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 125 pounds. -Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime as needed -Apply appropriate safety procedures and equipment to protect self, along with company and customer assets -Ability to maintain a professional appearance according to company dress code -Meet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals as defined by the business -Follow our Service Processes and market additional sales to customers (i.e., selling extended service agreements, accessories, etc.) by effectively communicating the benefits of these to the customer -Continuously looking for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience -Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer -Ability to receive truck stock, account for parts and organize parts for stock and returns, along with maintaining truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards -Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck -Adhere to all company policies and procedures -Have correct and proper tools and equipment Preferred Qualifications: -Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics -Leadership experience Compensation: Beginning hourly rate with transition into commission based pay once productivity goals are met or exceeded.
