Wanted to do a quick update on Lina- we saw her surgeon in Nashville yesterday am and he confirmed what the surgeons in Lexington told us. There is nothing they can do anymore as far as surgery. Her small intestines have stopped working which in turn makes it so she can not eat anything unless it is soft so it will come right back out the stomach tube-eating is more for pleasure now. She was admitted via the palliative team at Vanderbilt and they have been wonderful. They are controlling her pain which has not been done in so long. She is at peace because the doctors have confirmed what she knew before they said anything. They will be starting tpn-food through the port tonight. She has actually smiled more today than I have seen in a long time. We ask for the prayers to continue because we know God can heal her now or the most wonderful healing when she will have her new body-no pain and she is actually looking forward to that. She is so brave and I am so proud of her. Will do updates as we know something. Thanks
