Wanted to express my appreciation and respect for the devotion that Edward Marshall Jr has shown with the hands on involvement with his sons, particularly his superstar football player Matthew who I have been following in Video and Photographs. As an individual who had a good relationship with my father but didnt get to experience the sort of hands on fathering that IS very important in the maturation process of a young man, it has been a great reeducation for me not just in what that presence does for a young man in terms of his emotional stability, sense of self esteem and genuine self confidence (not egotism) but how that lack expresses itself in other boys who arent as fortunate as Edwards sons are.
