Wanted to give an update on my fuzzy Flower, for those that were interested. Today is day 5 of her being lethargic. She was seen by the vet 12/8 and had blood work and a physical exam. Had a fever of 105.6. Was given antibiotics, a probiotic, and immune booster. Was told to keep giving her the multivitamins I give my girls daily. Her blood work is back and shows signs of infection. Her insulin level is way too high and her glucose level is high with has the dr a little confused considering they should be opposite (one high one low, not both high) she is anemic, and she has lost 1.5 oz. Her fever has broke. (Finally! ) they took a urine and stool sample today. She goes back to the dr Friday night. Hopefully by then she purks up a bit. They want to do another blood sugar test then and possibly xrays. I just want my little girl to feel better. Shes getting all her meds like directed and Im feeding her chicken baby food mixed with pedialyte and a pedialyte 50/50 with water every 2 hours as much as she will take. To keep her hydration up and to try to build her strength. I do have to admit tho she is the most hyper of my 3 girls and.I am totally enjoying all this cuddle time I am getting :) I hope she still cuddles when shes back to normal. But Ill gladly trade these precious cuddles for her insane hyper self :) i sure miss it!
