Wanted to share some of my devotions this morning!!!! Our culture has made very little of heaven and tried desperately to create heaven here on earth. Advertisers bank on the idea that people really think this is as good as it gets. Modern man engages in ceaseless activity and amusement to distract himself from considering what comes next. Even the prayer life of Christians shows just how little we think of heaven. We spend more time praying for the sick (which keeps them out of heaven) than we do praying for the salvation of unbelievers (which could keep them out of hell). For a long time now this is how Ive been feeling, so I pray for healing and other things; but I try to remember to pray for lost souls as I go through a line, sit at an intersection, or see an accident; I think this statement you read above is so true and the song that says (why have I never cared - give me your eyes Lord) comes to mind when I think of all I pray for but dont pray like I should for lost souls, so I am trying to daily pray for souls in people I pass or friends, family, heaven is for real God is for real and so is hell so we need to get back to lost souls!!!!! I send a challenge to you to start today!!!!!! Praying for lost souls!!!!!
