Wanted to share some of my notes from the service this morning because this speaks to every single person out there regardless of religion, walk of life, age, etc. - We talked about Proverbs primarily and here is the just --- 3 Types of People (and weve all been each of them at some point in our lives) - The Wise. The Foolish. The Evil. The Wise seek the truth and when they find the truth they adopt, adapt and change. Wise people want to improve and be taught. They understand that feedback (good/bad) will allow them to grow. To walk with the wise you speak and share the -truth-. The Foolish do not change in light of the truth. They try to change the truth to put themselves in a better light. They do not take responsibility. Set boundaries with the foolish and when they deceive you enforce the consequences of those actions. They can only discover the truth on their own. Forcing change is not possible. They must become wise (adopt, adapt, and change). Do not let fools make you foolish. The evil seek to destroy the truth and to hurt those that speak the truth. A fool does not seek to specifically harm another, they just do. An evil person specifically seeks to damage other people. There is no peace for the wicked and you will find yourself in a path of destruction. When dealing with an evil person.... RUN - Stay away and protect yourself. Obviously we all have the capacity to be all of these things but there are things we can do to avoid being foolish and evil. 1. Keep only honest people in your life. 2. Structure your life for reality checks... Truly take time for self reflection 3. Spend time in the Bible. The Bible exposes things about ourselves that we cannot see (2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:25) If you dont know where to start... PLEASE ask me...
