Wanted to share this from a friends page. Hope you dont mind Howie, some people seem to forget how we got, get, and keep our freedom. God Bless not only our Soldiers but their families and what they have, do, and continue to sacrifice. Heres the most important part. I have copied and pasted. Hope everyone appreciates this as much as I did. From Howie Boyd: Lets take a minute before the grills get fired up to remember that Memorial Day is not a day to remember Veterans in general. As a Veteran I can tell you that we have a day in in November for that purpose. So, while I appreciate those of you who sent me messages this morning thanking me for my service to our country, I have to say that I am not worthy of thanks on this day. To me, it is a day to remember those who laid down their lives so that I didnt have to. Each year I try to take time to read the story of a few of the fallen. This year, I pay special thanks to 1st Lt Jason Togi. He was 24 years old from Pago Pago American Samoa and was killed in Afghanistan on 8/26/2013 when a roadside bomb blew up the vehicle he was in which he was traveling. Thank you Lt Togi.
