Wanted to update whoever is interested on our weekend. Its been a few days but I am now reflecting on how amazing it was. Powerlifting combined w Relentless has enhanced my life. Nicki Crapotta and I had the good fortune to go to Minneapolis and attend Kate The Great McAllisters’s Birthday party, Jenn Zerwas Wedding and spend some time with great people that we have met through Powerlifting and Relentless. Friday I had a few Business meetings then HOURS of shopping at the Mall of America with my sweety. Yeah shopping part sucked! Then a wonderful evening with Kate The Great and her family for her Birthday. The birthday was sooo great. Then we sat around a fire pit for couple hours just talking. Saturday morning was a show down squat session with Marshall Johnson at Twin Cities Barbell. Marshall kicked my ass and I squatting like a wuss. I was pathetic high! BUT I loved seeing Marshall and Matt get PR lifts! Then one of those Powerlifting lunches w 16 or so people. Then off to Jenn Zerwas’s wedding. The wedding was wonderful. With Scott Nutter marrying them and yes he wore Crocs! At the reception Barzeen Vaziri found a table right next to the AC unit (one of my highlights of the day). Great reception catered by Dicks BBQ! Just an incredible evening spent with friends celibrating the union of Jenn and John. Yes BTW I did danced! YMCA is my jam. Sunday morning Nicki and I met the McCallisters at the Minnesota Zoo. The smile on Kate and he big brother Leland’s faces all day was worth the 8 gallons of sweat I gave to that zoo walking around. The zoo was a really special time and want to go back and do it again right now. In the evening Nicki and I had a night out with Kate’s parents Stacy R Christianson McAllister and Alan McAllister. We went to Treasure Island Casino closed down the buffet talking about anything and everything. Really can’t say enough about how wonderful this family is and the fact that they face soooo MANY challenges with there lovely daughters situation. I am a very fortunate man to have had the opportunity to get to know them. Monday business meetings and then nice lunch in Downtown Minneapolis. Then Scott Nutter was so kind as to come in and open Twin Cities Barbell early so Nicki could get her squat workout in. Then we had to run off to the airport! Then back to Sacramento and see my babies. Detroit Relentless we will be there! Load the bar!
