DEADLINE: Friday, August 15th 2014 at 11:59 PM. Positions Available: Event Coordinator: Promote awareness for the issues around war-affected children and ensure events run smoothly and successfully. Event Coordinator is responsible for organizing details of events such as conferences, workshops, busking for change, tabling, and providing core administrative support for War Child. Time management and leadership skills is key for this role as the event coordinator is required to work with the Administrative Assistant and President or Vice President to book and make reservations for events and workshops on and off campus. Marketing Coordinator: Promote awareness for the issues around war-affected children and provide communication materials for upcoming events and social gatherings of War Child. This job also requires you to design, order, or print promotional materials for War Child; ie. awards, tickets, banners, posters, invitations, etc. This being said, you are required to be able to work with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
