War on the Tea Party Continues... While Democrats arent extinct in the Tennessee General Assembly, its clear Tea Party-aligned Republicans could have greater sway in the body. Despite losses in bids to dethrone House Speaker Beth Harwell and GOP Party Chairman Chris Devaney, Lt. Gov Ron Ramsey believes theyll remain a vocal minority that demands attention. GOP adviser Tom Ingram agreed, calling them irritants for both speakers and Gov. Bill Haslam. If you dont know, Tom Ingram is the political strategist for Bill Haslam, Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker. In addition it is worth mentioning that he is also the chief political consultant to Obama bundler and Nashville mayoral candidate Charles Robert Bone.
