Warm and sunny weather had Carter YouthQuest students outside - TopicsExpress

Warm and sunny weather had Carter YouthQuest students outside enjoying the nicest day of the year so far. Mr. Cody helped some students practice tossing a football around, while Ms. Tiffany took others for a power walk around the playground. Others chose to get active in an intense game of soccer, but no matter what they were doing, everyone was enjoying the warm weather! Ms. Jenna’s class predicted whether items would sink or float in a tub of water and then used popsicle sticks, tape, and foil to create their own boats. They tested how well their boats floated by seeing how many pennies each boat could carry before it sank; the record was an impressive 200 pennies! The Awesome Artists made some spring art using the medium of their choice this week. Some drew spring scenery, while others formed felt flowers, and Lilly made a lily! The Healthy Chefs were so pleased with the bagel pizzas they made they couldn’t wait to teach their friends to make them. The week wrapped up in true Carter style—with a wild game of scooter hockey and a good, old-fashioned tug of war!
