*Warning* I heard locally some people are getting cards read for encouragement or supposedly to unveil the oracles of God. Ephesians 5 tells us as children of the light we are to expose the works of darkness. I can assure you that cardreading falls under magicians, sorcery, mediums, necromancers, charmers, practicing devination, interpreting omens, inquires of the dead. There is some heavy stuff attached to this and I would pray you test this spirit. Hosea 4:6 says the Lords people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. 1 John 4:1 says to test the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth. By this you may know the Spirit of God: every spirit which acknowledges and confesses that Jesus Christ has become man and has come in the flesh is of God. Many times I will simply ask my thoughts if Jesus has risen from the dead and sometimes thoughts will flee at the question revealing that they are not of God. 1 Corinthians 12:3 I want you to understand that no one speaking under the power and influence of the Holy Spirit of God can ever say, Jesus be cursed! And no one can really say, Jesus is my Lord, except by and under the power and influence of the Holy Spirit. My cry to those being enticed by a cardreader, or charmer is to speak about the love of Christ and the shedding of His blood and I bet they dont stick around. God bless.
