Warren County Prosecutor David P. Fornshell notified us today that he will not be pursuing criminal charges against former Hamilton Township Fiscal Officer Jackie Terwilleger. In his letter to the law director, Fornshell stated: “Although BCI’s investigation demonstrates that Mrs. Terwilleger was grossly incompetent in her handling of the township’s finances, I do not believe there is sufficient evidence of criminal intent on her part to support criminal charges being pursued against her as to any of the referred issues. I do expect that the Ohio Auditor of State will issue a finding for recovery against Mrs. Terwilleger in the amount of $6,834.75, which represents the amount of overpayments that Mrs. Terwilleger, as fiscal officer, made to Deferred Comp. from 2011 to 2014, but which were not deducted from her payroll.” co.warren.oh.us/prosecutor/community/press/2014/06262014_Prosecutor_Not_Seeking_Charges_Against_Former_Fiscal_Officer.pdf
