Warring flesh(Sabbath 28 June 2014) Sin is very much alive in us hence Paul said•••{19 For it is not the good that I desire to do, that I do? But it is the evil that I do not desire, that I do. 20 But if I do what I do not desire, it is no longer I who do it, but the sin which dominates me:-) Romans 7:19-20HRB}•••How often do we find ourselves doing things that we are even ashemed of saying that we did? Does that not show the other force that operates within us taking charge of us without our own concern? What would have happened to us when we loose ourselves for a moment only to find ourselves back when the deed is done? Is it not the sin that lives in us that takes dominance over us and we end up doing the things that we do not want to do? Yes although sin lives in us, so as the Holy Spirit. Whatsoever we cultivate is that which grows. Our maturity in the word is seen by our ability in resistance of sin at all cost. Yes its easy to say she did this to me and we hold onto that without letting go and growing. Because we dont know who we are and what happens when we let go an offence. Our growth only start happening when we let go the past transgressions. How can you know forgiveness if you have never been offended. How can you experience to be forgiven if you think you have or you cannot transgress? How can you pray the prayer Forgive them Father for they do not know what they are doing if we think people are perfect when they sin its deliberate? No one is perfect we all sin and have fallen short of the glory of Yah. Overlooking that fact is a show of our ignorance to the word and valnerability to the spirits that causes sin. You, me and everyone else we are not safe under the primacy of sin but the Holiness of Yah. The Bible says•••{8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us:-)1John 1:8HRB}••• This verse shows that we all are under attack in one way or the other by these demonic spirits that causes sin. So my brethren are you above sin that you cannot forgive others or its just a question of self-justification, pride and blind folded expectations driven by the very sin that you want everyone to be perfect from( for you) with the exception of you. Are you holy enough that you dont need a saviour or be forgiven hence you cannot forgive others? Be careful to waste your time playing religion YaHWeH knows your heart and your receiving forgiveness from Him is dependent solemnly on your decision to forgive others. Look back if you have not forgiven in your heart you are playing Russian roulette with your life.
