Warriors, I know everyone is so tired. When I grabbed a couple - TopicsExpress

Warriors, I know everyone is so tired. When I grabbed a couple of gallons waters to put into the truck at the end of the day, my muscles ached. Near the end of the Festival, Harry Lewis, the President of the Baseball Booster Club, high-fived me because he knew it was a successful event. Everyone pitched in. Even those who had away tournaments arrived near the end and helped shut the it down. We closed up shop about 7:30 pm. That was 12.5 hours of pure hard work but everyone was selfless for the team and dug in and got it done. This was truly a team bonding event. The pictures and memories will last a life time. Everyone learned so much about everyone else. This is what is all about. I am so thankful for everyone’s contribution. I was so worried that we would be short on people, but everyone responded. I have never been so proud of C.F. Brewer High and the people to make it such as success. So many Softball girls pitched in and carried tables from one place to another and were accommodating to the patrons and organizers involved. It was so cool to have people working the start-up, serving, cooking, entertaining, safety and closing, it just blows my mind. A special thanks to those who persevered through the 13 hour experience. It was a fantastic success and I hope that this will continue for years to come. This is the biggest event the Softball team has ever attempted and I feel that we made a significant impact. We will be part of this occasion in the future and Harry Lewis and I are we hoping to leave this legacy to both of the organizations I have to highlight that Wes Harkins was pivotal to this event and everyone needs to thank him for his contributions and should respond quickly when the next opportunity arises. I wish I had the time to thank everyone who contributed to this via email but the list is so long that I think this email will never end. I am so grateful and thankful that I can’t even write it down. When I see you in the future and I give you a head nod, I want you to know that is for this event. You know who you are and I will never forget it, this thing is the best/hardest/funniest/fulfilling thing I have ever done. Your exhausted Booster Club President, Andy Miller
