Warriors honoring night. Last January 7,2015 before i left for manila, we had a funeral service and honoring night to one of our very faithful ABKA student here in davao, gil aaron monteza. He died because of dengue and some complications.. He was a faithful practitioner and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.. from the beginning his desire is to teach martial arts and use it to share the gospel as part of his ministry in his church , he also wants to teach kids in the villages and point him to Jesus (and i just knew in his wake that he was already doing that for a few months now).. He was so faithful to that calling. He could have been a great blackbelt serving Jesus thru abka ministry and his church. We gave him honor , we thank his family for their wonderful son. The family we encourage.. his brother is thinking of continuing what aaron started and train to do martial arts and ministry, the church he wanted to start abka ministry is willing to continue the vision... and the kids that he is teaching in the villages will be continually be thought and ministered by his ABKA brothers... And most of all we rejoice because we know that he died faithful to our Lord Jesus and he will be waiting for us in heaven to continue his training there and spar with us. Jozai Senjo!
