Was driving along the road, and saw all the traffic slowing down with their hazards on, so I skidded to a halt to find a dog wandering along the road... Turns out its as a blue and white whippet! The best thing to do was to pick him up, as he was in the middle of a 50mph zone! I picked him up and put him in the car, and after going round about 6 houses in the area, to give the owners a chance, to save them money from getting their dog from the pound, I gave up and took the poor chap to the police. They then turned round and refused to do anything for him, their exact words were... you found he dog, it is your responsibility, you have to keep him how rediculous! The dog warden was no help either, so after having him home for a few hours, he loved our girls and they played with him, we took him to our local boarding kennels, to scan his microchip. They said to leave him there and they rang the dog warden, so we are keeping in touch with them to see his wearabouts. Such a shame that he had no collar, but he was happy fit and healthy. Sorry for the essay, just thought Id share!
