Was experiencing severe stomach pains, while playing an inter-class football game one lunch time in form 3. It was halftime, when Mikey was walking under the covered way and saw me throwing up outside the toilets. He ran over, did a quick questionaire and assessment and said we taking ah ride. He brought the car screeching through the tunnel and off to Southern Medical we went. Seven and a half minutes later (dat man eh mash brakes once) hes physically carrying me inside and calling for a doctor. The nurse apparently wasnt moving fast enough or Mikey just totally ignored hospital protocol, but he took me through a corridor to a doctors private office. He told the Dr. of my symptoms and said take care of boy (not student or pupil eh, my boy). Brief exam and Im being prepped for surgery to remove an inflamed appendix that night. The last two faces I remember before going into surgery that night, was my mom and Mikey. Everytime we saw each other after that was yuh belly still hurting yuh boy?.
