Was going through some old songs of mine and I came across this one I wrote in a moment of MADNESS The Fireside sessions The bright lights of the city are a special place to be But the fireside sessions Thursday night means so much more to me Jumpy sing loads of songs Robert Cullen drinking tea Where would ya get such mighty craic and the music is all free Chorus Lying here in my hotel room listening to Lenard Coen I sure as hell would cut my wrists but the razor blades at home So Woulfy when you sing tonight with your guitar on your knee Woulfy sing a country song sing a country song for me Nicky Davis plays guitar and sings for all the boys A crowd of yahoos at the bar talking and making noise Anthony Brennan called for a song when he came back from a pee He said Woulfy play a Rebel Song sing a Rebel song for me Chorus Donal Carol’s had enough and he try’s hard for to play That same auld bloody song he sings a song called Dingle bay It’s late at night the doors are locked and Paddy shouts a plea Ladies and Gents just f*** off home will ye f*** off home its nearly half past THREE!!
