Was going to watch the Canadian Country Music Awards tonight. Its being sponsored by Walmart. This company is owned by one of the wealthiest families on earth, who could not possibly spend their fortune in their lifetimes. Meanwhile, their employees, in the US, cost the government millions of dollars in foodstamps and other social supports. In Canada they work for minimum wage, which has shown to be unliveable in most cities and towns. Just one other way corporations are destroying democracy by bankrupting governments both financially and morally. I will not be watching this show. I never shop at Walmart. Its a small stand.
