Was just reminiscing with an old SEC mate about carrying pistols on SEC business. In days gone by, my Senior Clerk would arm himself with a huge ex-US Army .38 automatic which he would stick down the front of his pants and would then give me a tiny Beretta to go and pick up the wages payroll. I lived in dread that one day he would do himself a mischief! Then there was the character at a certain EMESR District Office who was toying with a pistol which went off. The bullet passed between his legs ricocheted off the floor tile before going through the ceiling! Just another day in your average District Office.
