Was looking at this posting about Autism Awareness ... and thinking about my own life ... As a little child, I had been labeled by the doctors according to my mother as being mentally retarded ... Yes, me ... I played with my fingers a lot and became fixated on objects ... Read on I had strong marked characteristic of Autism ... which goes to show you how money or the lack their of determines the type of health care that one receives. However, look at God and the power of God ... Today, I am a High Honor Graduate from Saint Leo University (B.A) ... A graduate student at Concordia University, I educate children, Pastor a growing ministry, homeschooled my own daughter who was diagnosed on the spectrum and who was just inducted into the National Junior Honor Society ... Married a god-fearing, successful, educated brother. Social issues as normally associated with those on the spectrum, I do not have today ... Yes, as a youth I rarely had friends, but I didnt miss out ... I had loving protective brothers ... Today I have two awesome friends ... They understand me and I them ... So, I ask you this question ... IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD??? I dont think like most, but I am glad about that ... I hate to be apart of the crowd ... Peace In
