Was not sure Id post this, since it was a bad ending to a glorious, moose-filled day. Last night at Verns Place, I pulled in next to a crazily parked SUV. (It was horizontally parked, taking up 4 spaces, versus pulling in straight. And sort of blocking a handicapped space. So I noticed it, and the driver texting in the front seat.) I entered the store to show my friend the moose pics Id just shot on my camera. Within 5 minutes, 3 people rush in to say that the red car out front (mine) just got slammed by a large SUV backing up, that they tried to flag the SUV down, and she looked right at us and peeled out. Luckily, they got the plate number and hung around 45 minutes til the state patrol showed up, to serve as witnesses. Parking lot hit and run. To that woman who did this, you just turned your average fender-bender into breaking the law. Hope they get you. To the cool folks I met last night, you have good karma (car-ma?) coming your way.
