Was waiting to announce this until I knew for sure, but today is bittersweet for me.... Ive decided Im done singing in the bars (for now at least). ... My musicians and I have mutually agreed that private parties, festivals, fairs etc would still be fun to do depending on availability, but for me, Ive had enough of the night club life. 10 years to be exact...Im a mommy now, and I find it hard to not be with my son. ..I dont plan on having any more kids, so I want to cherish every moment I can with Isaiah. .. This has been in the back of my mind once I found out I was pregnant. ..Am I giving up on music??? NO...But I do need to take some time and reflect on what I would like to do with my life. ..Its time to focus on God, my family and see whats in store for me. ..Ill still enter music competitions and strive my best to take my music to that next level, but at this time, I feel this is the right decision. Maybe now Ill have the time to get a degree in music, or write my own songs, or even cut a cd. Im trying to stay positive, so please no negative feedback. ..I need support now more than ever. .. and Id like to close this post by saying thank you to those who have stood by me all these years. .including family, friends, fellow musicians, and venues. ..(tried to tag everyone but phone wouldnt allow it)...I love you all and thank you for your continous support for the last 10 years. .And if Im lucky, maybe one day youll all be at MY concert in the front row :)
