Was wondering if you could post a question to the fans..... We are setting up a somewhat newly made dispatch center for Fire/EMS/PD and we have made all of the checklists then got slammed with a question none of us have an answer to. In the event a caller calls and says they want to end their life and the 911 system cant get a good track as to the location of a call what do you as an operator do next? My original answer was to transfer it from our PSAP on the Military base to an off base PSAP. As I mentioned that another dispatcher told us this actually happened earlier this month and was transferred to us from off base with a location of somewhere on your base. Our base is somewhat large and has buildings from 1 story to 15 stories. Any help would be great as I have told my higher ups we would figure it out soon. Thanks
