Wasa lake continues it’s slow decline, dropping another inch in the past 24 hours and maintaining its rate for the past 72 hours. The water levels are going to be monitored throughout the week. There are still several homes that are affected by the high water levels and the boat launch continues to be closed during this time. The voluntary “no boating” request will be reassessed through the week, we appreciate your cooperation in keeping boats parked during this difficult time. Anyone needing sandbags can access them at the Wasa Community Hall, there are 4,000 filled bags on site. We encourage those homes that have sandbags to not remove them until we see a significant drop in the water.
