Wasnt gonna do this today, but the Holy Spirit brought me back to Facebook just to say this. United we stand, Divided we fall! One of the truest statements ever made. Happening in Christianity. And though Jesus came to bring division, it wasnt ever in context of legalism. I see so many Christians persecuting other Christians for celebrating Christmas that I really must say this. Christmas is pagan rooted...yes. It is a confusing tradition of men. But for the love of the Father please STOP stating that other Christians dont love God, because the celebrate Christmas. That really made me mad. Check it. I dont deal with Santa Claus anymore, but I do celebrate Christmas to an extent. I dont need to explain my heart to you or my reasons. DO YOU. Live with your own reasons. I will say. This new argument that seems to be causing division is the (legalisticly phonetic) one stating that Merry Christmas is us saying Happy Death of Christ. But that is not the hearts intent of the believer (in Christ) is it? Well I can only speak for some. But, being that it did PLEASE the Father to crush Jesus, in the spiritual sense. The atonement is indeed Merry. So is the birth of the Saviour, no matter what date in the physical realm it actually was. I do hate the fact that our Lord suffered, and that our ways put Him in a position to choose to. But am please that I am not bound to the pagan god Mithras, this Christmas season. I am free from the wages of sin and death. Only because of the death of Jesus. So yes, I am Merry this Christmas. The freedom from these devils to come is something that I cant wait to fully dwell in. Dont let the devil lie to you Christian. Just trust God to edit out what He needs from you in order to perfect you....even in and out of tradition. Isaiah 53:10 Yet the Lord was PLEASED to crush Him severely. When You make Him a restitution offering, He will see His seed, He will prolong His days, and by His hand, the Lord ’s pleasure will be accomplished.
