Wasnt sure if one had set ones faithful alarm last night, so decided to get up when awake - at five am! Hence Christmas cards completed and stamped. Hence washing done and tumble dried. Hence cats litter tray duly cleaned. Smug? Moi? No prizes for guessing alarm did go off, on cue. Still, one is going to be roasting chestnuts, not on an open fire, but in a George Foreman where this year one will remember to score the nuts and avoid the minor explosion which happened last year, when one did not. So plenty of time for a quick rehearsal of Chestnuts roasting on an open fire which one is obligated to sing with minor changes to lyric (and apologies to Mel Torme who wrote the song). Chestnuts roasting in a Foreman grill, come along and have a share.. We have sea salt and honey and they dont cost much money and they make the perfect Christmas fare! On second thought, think one might edit and only use the first five words.....
