Watch 1,200 Japanese workers turn a railway line into a subway line overnight Subway construction can take years, if not decades. So the fact that in 2013, a group of 1,200 Japanese workers turned an above-ground train line into a subway line in one single night is nothing short of a miracle. The construction took place on March 15, 2013 at the Shibuya Station in Tokyo, with the goal of building a train section that would connect with Daikanyama Station. The 1,200 employees were deployed immediately following the stations last train at 1:00 am. And by 5:00 am the next morning, Shibuya Station was ready to go. Check out the video of the insanely efficient construction below: https://youtube/watch?v=wIbZqqLra9k
