The CREIGHTON CREEK bushfire is currently not yet under control. Residents of Firetail Lane, Lynsdale Road, Panorama Drive and Gap Road Longwood East are advised that fire activity to the south of these areas is significant and fire fighting efforts are being hindered by the difficult terrain. Residents need to remain vigilant as the fire behaviour continues to be unpredictable and are again urged to remian alert and activate their bushfire plans. Traffic Management points have been established and roads are closed as follows: - Creightons Creek Road between Longwood - Mansfield Rd and Sincliar Road - Longwood Ruffy Road between Gap Road and the Ruffy township - Longwood - Gobur Road between Longwood - Ruffy Road and Creightons Creek Road Travel to; - The home of family or friends that is away from the warning area. - The relief centre at Wesley Hall, Bury St, Euroa will be open from 8am today Thursday 18th The next update is expected by 18/12/14 11.00 AM or as the situation changes.
