Watch and share. Trying to raise awareness of one kind of oppression while perpetuating another kind is so 20th century. Lets be done with that already. Luckily, theres this video. This is an excellent response to the video circulated last week that many of us saw and thumbed up, but that left a bad taste.. something not right... where were the white males acting badly? We all know those guys! They were edited out, it turns out. It just so happened that a siren was going by or something whenever they made their smarmy comments, and the editors didnt see the problem with them not being in the piece at all, thus perpetuating an old story of power: white women needing protection from predatory men of color. Videos like this, conversations like this are seeds of necessary change.
