It causes individuals to overlook the realities of their own country on purpose. As soon as the host asks him about womens rights and the obsession with modesty in Pakistan, he turns red and uncomfortable and lies there is no problem. Khan lies not because he is scared of creating uproar back home, but because he GENUINELY thinks there is no problem. Of course there is no problem amongst the free Karachi-Lahore grammar school elite who seek employment&higher education elsewhere in the world, yet always feel defensive about their nation. Defensive about what? When asked, Fawad Khan couldnt even say a single good thing about India- whose entertainment industry bends over backwards to support Pakistani artists (not even one recording label exists in Pakistan) in a state of war! He even says Pakistani cinema has a long history of physical intimacy on camera. She asked about NOW, doofus. Plus, a Pak film industry was a black market with heroines hailing from the red light district. I started off hating Sonam Kapoor for her deluded insecure personality. Since she keeps going on about how much she reads, I would say she is living proof against the notion that bookworm = intelligence. Anyway, now I hate Fawad Khan.
