Watched 2 States twice in one day..... so is it that good? To some extent yes..... and the major reason is its story which is very fresh, urban and showcases todays reality in a perfect way. I have not read the book, I didnt because I wanted to watch it and I know there has been hardly any movie which has been better than the book (thats what the readers compassion). Lets not compare the two. The film in itself is very well scripted and enacted. Alia Bhatt is in top form. Arjun is on a learning curve but still does a decent job. Some people are not liking this casting because they have already read the characters and have visualised them and that is where they should not compare. The supporting cast is brilliant specially Ronit Roy. Direction is good, specially the flashback scene has been brilliantly directed. Music is in sync with the film. Nothing special abt the film but thats where the film works.....its simplicity. ..... the film is enjoying a dream run at the box office with more than 70 cr in only 10 days and hence it seems majority will agree to my view...... Go watch it.....its a clean family entertainer
